OMAS EXTRA 556 PISTON FILLER - 1946 MODEL

At the end of WWII, Omas introduced the piston filling mechanism, which promised to be easier to use than its traditional reverse plunger  which had been used for the Lucens and the Extra Lucens series.

The new line of piston fillers was called Extra and was identified by a model number which was 555 ( lady size), 556 ( senior size), 557 ( oversize).

Pens were manufactured in celluloid in a wide range of colors, among which gray pearl, cappuccino, arco gray, arco brown ...

This Omas Extra piston filler in black celluloid is a 556 in excellent condition wth a superb  very flexible Omas Extra 14 ct  EF gold nib.

The pen comes with its original box and papers, which definitely add a lot of chrme to this great writing instrument.

The pen is in excellent condition; the barrel imprint has slightly faded away.
