WATERMAN 92V LIZARD CELLULOID - BEAUTIFUL AND RARE

In the mid 1930's Waterman introduced the 92 line in a very wide range of celluloid colors. This line of pens was the natural evolution of the 9X series in ripple ebonite which had been introduced in the late 1920s/early 1930s.The 92 V was the shorter, ladysize version and was initially manufactured in black and pearl, jet black, green pearl, claret and steel quarz only.
However, many more colors of this model exist especially in the framework of Canadian and British production. Here we find also stylistic variations as in the case of this 92V which sports two barrel rings.
Lizardskin celluloid 92Vs are part of the British production and they are among the rarest and most desirable versions of this small-sized model.
This 92V is in excellent condition with no traces of brassing and a splendid color.
The nib is smooth, grade M with a very pleasant flexibility.
