WATERMAN 42 SAFETY PEN - TWO-TONE FACETTED 18 KR OVERLAY

This is a very unusual Waterman 42 with Italian rolled gold overlay.

Two-tone overlays are not extremely rare but they generally appear on cylindrical pens. In this case, the pen is facetted and it is fitted with one of the least common Waterman clips, which is typical of the Cavaliere workshop's production.

The pen is in excellent condition and has no dings. There is a spot on the turning knob which has been tested for gold. The turning know has a dedication coming from a a group of soldiers to their colonel.

The Waterman Nr 2 nib is very pleasant to use; it is flexible, smooth and   very responsive.
