WATERMAN 412 1/2 SILVER FILIGREE

This pen is a lovely example of early Waterman craftsmanship, combining both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. The silver filigree overlay and Art Nouveau styling showcase the style of the time and remind us of a time when writing instruments had to be both beautiful and technically reliable.

The semi-flex nib with an Extra Fine point is particularly interesting as it allows for some line variation while still being practical for regular use. This combination of features makes the pen both a collector's item and  a very pleasant writing instrument.

There are two initials engraved in the cartouche. The overlay is otherwise flawless.
