WATERMAN 32 - facetted rolled gold Italian overlay

The fashion of rolled gold overlays on Waterman pens began in the early 1920's and continued till the 1940's.

Overlays were used on almost every Waterman model distributed in Italy. They definitely made the pens more desirable and easier to be sold.

This Waterman 32 has a very nice facetted overlay with geometric decoration dating back to the mid1930's/early 1940s. The overlay is very elegant and clean without dings.

The pen is fitted with a beautiful Waterman nr. 2 nibs which is a very good writer.
