This is an early and rare Waterman Nr 16 in black ebonite with an Italian silver mobile clip  (it is marked Argento 800) in excellent condition with no signs of oxidisation. The pen is fitted with a large Waterman nib with a round vent hole which is younger than the pen. The correct nib would be a Nr. 6 with heart shaped vent hole.

The nib is a good performer as it is very smooth and nicely flexible. The pen is rather long and pleasant to use.
