PELIKAN TOLEDO M900 EARLY 20C - 833 NIB - UNUSED

In 1986 Pelikan introduced the modern version of its most famous Toledo model from 1931. The new Toledo was initially manufactured only in the M700 size. The bigger model, named M900 was introduced in 1991.

The M900 Toledo was first meant to be a very special and super limited edition of only 500 pieces for the North American market only. These pens were offered with a special packaging and a warranty leaflet which certified the rarity of the edition and had a special 20 ct -833 nib.

Actually Pelikan  soon decided to lift the limitation and the M900 was soon included in their standard production lines next to the M700, the M710 and the M910. Standard M900s were fitted with a 18 ct nib as the original 20 ct -833 nib remained a feature for the super limited edition only.

This Pelikan M900 is part of the original bunch of super limited edition pens as it is fitted with the rare 20 ct nib. The pen is unused and it comes with a standard Toledo box.

Nib grade is M.
