OMAS TOKYO Lychee nut green - NOS

The Tokyo line of piston fillers was introduced by Omas in 1993. The model was designed by the famous industrial designer E. Sottsass who drew inspiration from Oriental minimalism to develop the project of the pen.

The clip is simple and  linear and the round shape at the top recalls the initial "O" from Omas.

The Tokyo was produced in colorful resin in an nice array of colors: viridian green, lychee nut green, blue Venezia, persimmon orange and classic black.

The nib was originally  gold plated steel, with a typical decoration, as the model was meant for a young  market and was not supposed to be too expensive.

Gold nibs exist, too and are very rare and desirable.

This pen is new old stock  in excellent condition

The nib is 18 ct gold, rade BB, which is pretty rare and very desirable

The color is  lychee nut green.
