OMAS PROFUTURA SPECIAL EDITION - BLUE OVERSIZE OGIVA

Profutura is  a Bologna-based non-profit organization which takes care of the elderly and promotes initiatives to improve old people's  quality of life. Among the many initiatives Profutura created many cultural initiatives to promote its goals; one of the most significative is the "De Senectute" prize, created in 1996 and is conferred to people who develop innovative research initiatives in the field of geriatry.

Omas cooperated with Profutura and in 2000 created a special line of instruments (fountain pens and rollerballs) in blue resin dedicated to the Association. The cap band of these instruments is decorated with the Association's logo, which is present on the nib, too. The model Omas decided to use is an oversize Ogiva 557 in blue resin.

This pen is pre-owned but in excellent condition and it has its complete packaging.

It is a very nice writer and a desirable collectible, too.
