OMAS THE PARAGON BLACK COTTON RESIN - CUSTOMIZED FOR RAIUNO

This pen is one of the many Omas products  connected with collaboration/ customisation which Omas manufactured in the course of the late 1900s and early 200s. The list of Omas pens manufactured on commission is very long and includes Ogiva, Paragon/Milord and 360 models. The Ogiva was used among others for the Buffetti, the Glaxo, the Artaxan, the Quinazide special editions as well as for  the Moma and the Club Internazionale della Stilografica etc.

The Paragon/Milord models were instead used for the Alma Mater Studiorum, the Club Internazionale, the Blibliotheque Nationale, the Italia 90 etc.

In many cases, the models were partially reviewed, with a few details being changed, from the color of cap bands to the replacement of the  greek key  decoration with a different motif. Sometimes, the models were just left unchanged with the simple addition of a customised engraving on the cap or on the barrel or manufactured in a special color. In this case, we have a standard The Paragon model with a barrel engraving "Raiuno" positioned next to the Omas Extra standard engraving.

Raiuno is one of the three main public TV channels in Italy and this Paragon is probably part of a customised production  of pens to be used as promotional. The pen is unused and comes with its original presentation box.
