The Extra model with lever filler mechanism was introduced by Omas in 1932 c.ca.

The model was manufactured in three sizes and a variety of celluloid colors and it was offered both in the cylindrical and the facetted version. The beauty of the model was enhanced by a wide greek-key decorative cap band placed among two thin rings. 

The greek-key cap band had unfortunately to be replaced with three cap rings during war years due to the prohibition to use gold.

This Omas Extra lever filler is a medium size early model in excellent condition and it is fitted with a very pleasant Omas Extra 14 ct nib, grade M. The cap shows an oval engraving with the name "Accossano Rome" inscribed in it. Accossano was a famous Rome-based Omas pen shop, active since the early 1910s. Being an Omas retailer, Accossano had its Omas pens customised with the shop name.
