OMAS EXTRA 556 Black piston filler

At the end of WWII, Omas introduced the piston filling mechanism, which promised to be easier to use than its traditional plunger filling mechanism which had been used for the Lucens and the Extra Lucens series.

The new line of piston fillers was called Extra and was identified by a model number which was 555 ( lady size), 556 ( senior size), 557 ( oversize).

This Omas Extra piston filler is a 556 in excellent condition wth a nicely flexible Omas Extra 14 ct gold nib.
