OMAS DAMA BLACK CELLULOID

In the early 1960s, Omas reviewed its top lines and replaced the 55X/F series with three new models which were named Gentlemen, Milord and Dama. These new pens were very similar in design and size to their predecessors. The Gentlemen corresponded to the previous 557/F, the Milord to the 556/F and the Dama to the 555/F.

Their look was however more charming as they were fitted with a large cap band with meandros decoration between two thin cap rings.

These new pens were originally fitted with  beautiful, old extra Lucens nibs.

The line remained in production till the early 1980s , when it was replaced by new models manufactured in resin which had similar names and identical design ( Gentleman, Milord and Dama). The nibs on these pens were no longer the old extra Lucens nibs coming from the 1930s but new 14 ct nibs with a different vent hole.

This Omas Dama in celluloid is in excellent condition, it comes with its original purple velvet presentation box. It is fitted with a generous new style Omas nib from the 1980s.
