OMAS 557/F BLACK CELLULOID - RARE OS

The Extra 55X series was introduced by Omas at the end of the1940's. The series comprised three sizes of piston fillers: 555 (lady), 556 ( senior) and 557 ( oversize). While 556F are fairly common and not so difficult to find, oversize pens are extremely scarce and very desirable.

The nib Omas chose for  this series of pens was the famous Extra Lucens 14 ct gold the company had been using since 1939 on Extra Lucens models.

This particular nib, which is elegant and sometimes super flexible, makes the pens of this series perfectly suitable for everyday users who are looking for smoothness and flexibility.
