OMAS 360 GREEN MOMA - EXTREMELY RARE

The Omas MOMA (Museum Of Modern Art) line of writing instruments was developed in 1998 in collaboration with the famous New York Museum.
To create this special edition, Omas selected a finish of the cap with three cap bands, which replaced the typical greek key band of their standard production.
The line comprised ogivas in two sizes (556 and 557) with gold filled and HT trim, available both in black and red resin and a series of 360s.
So far, only black and red and black Omas MOMA models were known. A few years ago I encountered a green MOMA 360 prototype in a collection but it was marked " prototype", so the assumption was that green never made it to production.
This green 360, confirms instead that a very limited number of MOMA 360s were actually manufactured. The pen comes from a collection in Bologna and has its complete packaging. It has never been used and it is in pristine condition.
I have no idea if green Ogivas exist, too.
The external faux leather lining of the box is slightly flaking off, as it often happens with many Omas boxes of the 1990s.
This pen is definitely a must for any serious Omas collector and for anybody interested in the 360 variations.
