MONTBLANC AGATHA CHRISTIE VERMEIL - UNUSED - F

Introduced in 1993, this beautiful Montblanc model which is part of the Writers series,is dedicated to Agatha Christie, the world famous writer who created the characters of Hercule Poirot and  Miss Marple.

Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie was born in 1890 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest writers of the mystery genre; she has been dubbed as the "Queen of Mystery".

She wrote over 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections becoming the best- selling  fiction author of all times; her novels have sold more than two millions copies.

In 1971, she was made a Dame by Queen Elizabeth for her contributions to literature.

Montblanc's tribute to this famous writer is a fascinating model where the snake clip (which recalls Montblanc clips of the 1920s) has a symbolic meaning, with the sapphire eyes of the curling snake hinting at mystery and suspence.

This pen with vermeille finish (gold plating on silver) is unlinked, stickered, in perfect condition and  with its complete set of documents.
