Montblanc 144G - EARLY MODEL - OBB NIB

In 1948 Montblanc restyled its  models and introduced the 14X line of pens.

Initially only sizes 142, 144 and 146 in black celluloid were produced. The big 149 was introduced in 1952.

Later on Montblanc introduced a beautiful striped celluloid in two different tones of green and in  gray which was used for all the sizes with the exception of 149 which kept on being manufactured in black only.

Early feeders on these models were flat with two back channels. Later feeders have a bumped back and a different design.

This Montblanc 144G belongs to the early production ( flat feeder), is in in excellent condition ( stripes of the ink window are faded but still visible) and it is fitted with a  very special OBB flexible nib.
