MINERVA ELLITTICA by Omas - senior size

In the 1930's Omas introduced the Minerva line of pens which were meant to flank standard Omas products.
Minerva pens were produced in a number of styles and can often be found in the same colors as their Omas counterparts but also in color combinations which Omas never used for its top of the range pens.
Minerva pens an be found both as button fillers (early production with Duofold style) lever fillers and piston fillers. The most successful and more fascinating lines of Minerva are doubtlessly the Classica and the Elittica; both are lever fillers and have been produced in beautiful and often unusual colors.
The Ellittica exists in two versions, with a simple design and with a richer look, embellished by decorative rings on the cap and barrel. This model was used by Omas for a few productions on commission, too. Pens with this same design can be found for instance branded as E.E. Ercolessi, too.
This Minerva is a senior size and its celluloid is exactly the same Omas used for its Extra lever fillers, Lucens and Extra Lucens models.
The pen is fitted with a very pleasant 14 ct Minerva nib, grade EF which is very responsive and flexible.
