ITALIAN 1940'S GIOBERT crazy celluloid

This is a very interesting pen, both for the type of celluloid and for its origin. It was manufactured in Milan by Mr. Gioberto Pesci who was a renowed repairman in Milan. At the time He worked for major pen shops and did professional repair work/ after sale service for the Italian Pelikan agent.
He also created his own brand of pens and marketed them with the name "Giobert".
Most of his pens were nice medium/high quality celluloid button fillers.
This pen is manufactred in a fascinating three color celluloid: cream, black and bronze and has a nice ribbed cap band; it is fitted with a 14 ct gold "Black River" replacement nib, which is very nice to use.
Time of production: early 1940's
