In 1998 Delta dedicated a limited edition to the famous 1656 Velasquez painting Las Meninas (meaning "the ladies in waiting") which is one of the most enigmatic and analysed works in Western art as it is structured to create questions about reality and illusion and to place the viewer and the painting in a continuous play of shifting perspectives.

Delta's limited edition is a lever filler  in gray resin flanqued by a demonstrator  unnumbered special edition with black cap and transparent barrel. A silver medallion representing a child present in Velasquez's work is embedded on the barrel.

The nib on this pen is steel, grade m. It is unused and without box.
