Introduced in 1939, the Extra Lucens was designed to be the top of the range. The denomination Extra Lucens was chosen to demonstrate that this facetted model was the upgrade of the previous Lucens model.

It was marketed in  three sizes and in a variety of colors: black, tortoise, cracked ice but also gray and blue laminated and green marbled. Nowadays a few of these colors are extremely rare while black extra Lucens appear on the market from time to time.

This Omas Extra Lucens in tortoiseshell celluloid is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of time and use.
