ZEMAX ORANGE CELLULOID - WARTIME VACUUM FILLER

Zemax was founded in Turin by Massimo Zemein the early 1930's; the company remained active till the early1950s.

Although less known than Aurora and other major pen makers, its products were of the highest quality, especially pens produced in the 1930s. Zemax pens are generally manufactured in high quality celluloids  and sports very original metal trims which in many cases differentiate them from the entire Italian production of the same time.

Zemax manufactured a wide variety of models, button and lever fillers and in the late 1930s/early 1940's vacuum fillers, too.

This Zemax pen in intense orange celluloid is a wartime vacuum filler with steel nib but it is a very pleasant writer.
