WILLIAMSON BLUE LAMINATED CELLULOID - 1940'S

Parker 51's influence on the Italian market was very strong  and it brought about a productive wave of pen with hooded/semi-hooded nibs with gold filled cap.

One of the most famous and successful Parker 51 derivations is doubtlessly the Aurora 88 but most Italian companies offered their own interpretation of the world famous Parker model during the late 1940's /early 1950's.

Williamson's interpretation of the 51 is certainly very original as the Parker arrow clip was transformed into into a feather clip and the solid barrel colors were replaced with laminated celluloid.

Williamson's 51-lookalike pens have barrels manufactured in shiny laminated celluloid in various colours: blue, gray, purple and green.

Like most Williamson products, these pens are high quality writing instruments, too. They are pleasant to use and the laminated celluloid of the barrel is mesmerizing.
