WATERMAN 42 SAFETY PEN - decorative ivy leave bands

Waterman 42 with rolled gold overlay decorated with high relief bands with ivy leaves and floral cap. The overlay can be dated to the late 1920's.

There are no major damages nor brassed areas. The only defect of the pen is a tiny bump on the barrel which you can see in the picture which shows the pen open with the nib pulled up.

The nib is a precious Waterman nr. 2 14 ct gold with very long tines. It is very smooth and flexible.
