WATERMAN 42 1/2 WITH TURBAN CAP AND BLACK STONES

Waterman 42s with rolled gold overlay are quite common in Italy;  the  thinner and longer size 42 1/2 is instead more difficult to find.

This Waterman 42 1/2 has a very nice and elegant overlay with a rich turban cap top decorated with a line of black stones.

The overlay was manufactured by Kohler and Scheafer, one of the various manufacturers who were appointed by the Italian Waterman Agent to produce overlays  for the domestic market.

Time of production: late 1920's.
