In 2000 Visconti released a series of revised Ragtime models which were called New Ragtime and were dedicated to the city of Florence. These pens were manufactured in black acrylic and were enriched with guiloche' decoration. The y were shorter than the traditional Ragtime models and their design was reminiscent of vintage Pelikan models.

The line of new Ragtime pen comprised the New Ragtime, with smooth cap and Art Nouveau decoration on the barrel, the  Medici with Art nouveau decoration both on cap and barre and the Pitti model, with linear guilloche' on the barrel only.

They were all piston fillers with decorated cap band, HT finish and steel nibs.

This New Ragtime Pitti is unused and it comes with its original Visconti box. Nib grade is M.
