UHLMANN'S ETERNO blue lapis button filler

The company Uhlmann's Eterno was founded by Emil Uhlmann in the early 1900's.

The company specialized in items and pens with precious and semi-precious overlay. All Uhlman Eterno products have a very evident style and many models are richly decorated with a rare  and refined taste for small enamelled details.

Uhlmann Eterno produced pens in celluloid, too. These were mostly button fillers which follows the style of Parker Duofold pens. Their imprints on the barrel are very original as they are placed at the end of the barrel in the shape of an arch. The company logo ( a big eye) is included in the imprint.

The same big eye is present on the nibs, too.

This early Uhlmann Etrno button filler is a medium size in beautiful lapis celluloid. The pen has its original 14 ct gold nib and the clip is market Eterno, too. The pen dates back to the late 1920's.

It comes in its original presentation box, which is slightly damaged but very nice.
