In the early 1920's Tibaldi manufactured safety pens in ebonite and with gold filled overlay.

The pens replicated the German style of safety pens of the time and were fitted with beautiful 14 ct superflexible nibs.

The range of sizes went from size 0 up to size 8, available both in the short or long version (following Montblanc example).

This Tibaldi safety pen is a very rare size nr. 8 long ( the engraving on the turnIng knob is worn out). The pen is in excellent condition and it is fitted with a later Tibaldi 14 ct gold nib. 

It is a very pleasant  writer and a very attractive collectible.
