PILOT CAPLESS FACETTED BURGUNDY - NOS - 1990s

The  Pilot Corporation introduced a revolutionary pen in Japan in the early 1960s. It had a retractable nib which could be activated by a twist action. It was the first capless pen.

The model had a huge success and kept on being improved both aesthetically and technically. The original aluminium body was later on replaced by stainless steel  coupled with black or colorful plastic.

Major aesthetical and technical transformations were implemented in the course of decades to make this model as functional and elegant  as possible, to reach the perfected design and high quality range of decorations we can buy today.

This Pilot capless dates back to the 1990s. This version with facetted plastic body can be found in green, black and burgundy.

The filling mechanism on these pens can be either cartridge or aerometric. This pen has and aerometric filling mechanism.

The pen is unused and it comes with its box and leaflet.
