The Pelikan Toledo model was first introduced by Pelikan in 1931 and it was a great success.

The complexity of production of the decorated sleeve made this pen immediately  highly requested  and nowadays vintage Pelikan Toledos  are among  the most desirable collectible pens ever.

In 1986, Pelikan manufactured a modern version of the famous Toledo.The model was introduced in two sizes: M700 and M900.

This Pelikan Toledo M700 is part of th4 early production: has a single-tone 18 ct gold nib, engravings below the turning knob and the old style feeder. The nib is F.
