OMAS PARAGON EXTRA

In the 1980's Omas introduced the Paragon, a facetted model in black resin which represented the beginning of a new era for the Bologna-based company.
the Paragon was meant to become the flagship of the company. The model was enriched with a double greek key band on the grip which matched the cap band and it was fitted with two tone gold nibs (14 K).
The first Paragon models were engraved 557/F on the barrel, to confirm the connection with the past (557/F was the name of the facetted oversize model in black celluloid Omas had introduced in 1948). They were also numbered not as a limited edition but simply to keep track of the number of pieces which were manufactured.
Later on, the model was renamed and called simply "Extra".
This Omas Paragon is marked Extra and it is in unused condition. It comes with its complete packaging which includes a bottle of blue Omas ink.
Nib grade is F.
