OMAS EXTRA LUCENS SR.SIZE- gray laminated celluloid

The Extra Lucens model was introduced in 1938 in a wide range of colors, which comprised gray, green, red, brown, black with white streaks (cracked ice) and jet black. Laminated celluloids were introduced a bit later. The most common version is gray but a few very rare pieces in blue laminated celluloid are also known.

As a rule, colorful Extra Lucens pens are definitely very rare as the semitransparent celluloid used for the barrels was very brittle and absolutely fragile and not so many Extra Lucens  have survived the test of time and use.

This gray laminated Omas Extra Lucens is in excellent condition with no traces of discoloration.

The nib is very pleasant and flexible, grade F/M.
