OMAS 556/F arco gray celluloid

The 556/F was one of the most successful Omas models of the 1950's.

The 55X line of piston fillers was introduced in 1948 in two versions, cylindrical and facetted. The F suffix was used to identify the facetted models.

While the cylindrical line was fitted with Omas Extra nibs, the facetted line, which was the top of the range at the time, was fitted with a more precious Omas Extra Lucens nib.

556 cylindrical models are rather slim, facetted pens on the contrary have a sturdier and more substantial look and are fantastic writers suitable for large hands, too.

The range of colors was limited to jet black, tortoise brown, arco gray, arco brown and gray pearl.

This Omas 556/F in arco gray celluloid is in pristine condition and it is fitted with a superb Omas Extra Lucens nib, which is very flexible and smooth.
