MONTBLANC ROUGE ET NOIR NR. 4 LONG

Montblanc Rouge et Noir safety pens were marketed in Italy only for a very limited span of time.

Sizes available were the same as  the standard Montblanc safety pens with white star which were marketed in Germany.

The Rouge et Noir brand was registered in Italy in the first decade of 1900. The official Montblanc Agent for Italy was Mr. Walter Kessel. Very limited pieces of information exist about the development and management of the Italian market for Montblanc pens.

These pens are very rare and highly desirable for most Montblanc collectors.

This Rouge et noit NR. 4 long is in excellent condition. The ebonite has a very nice patina and a superb imprint on the cap. The imprint on the barrel is slightly faded but still clearly visible.

The pen is fitted with a Montblanc nr. 4 nib, which is fine and flexible.
