MONTBLANC ROUGE ET NOIR - nr. 2 short

Montblanc Rouge et noir safety pens were marketed in Italy only for a very limited span of time.

Sizes available were the same as  the standard Montblanc safety pens with white star which were marketed in Germany.

The Rouge et Noir brand was registered in Italy in the first decade of 1900. The official Montblanc Agent for Italy was Mr. Walter Kessel. Very limited pieces of information exist about the development and management of the Italian market for Montblanc pens.

This Rouge et Noir safety pen is a nr. 2 ( short version) it is in excellent condition with very limited signs of use, the red star is very clean and shiny.

The "Rouge et Noir' imprint on the cap is till very visible and the imprint on the barrel is beautiful and not worn at all.
