MONTBLANC MEISTERSTUCK 149 - W. Germany

Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 pre-owned but in excellent condition, with original box.

The pen has a 18K nib, a plastic feeder and a brass mechanism, which would include it in contemporary production.

The lasered inscription on the cap ring reads "W. GERMANY", which places it in a pre -1989 production line. Generally "W.Germany" inscriptions are not lasered but engraved. "WEST GERMANY" is repeated in the sticker on the barrel.

This pen is therefore difficult to be classified. It is probably one of the last pre-1989 products with features which are already part of more modern production.
