MONTBLANC 244 - BLACK PISTON FILLER

In 1948 Montblanc introduced the 24X line of piston fillers. Initially, only two sizes were manufactured, 244 and 246; the smallest size 242 was introduced later on.

These pens were addressed to the medium-price market and were designed to have a very large distribution.

They are beautiful and sturdy writing instruments.

This Montblanc 244 in black celluloid is in excellent condition and sports a very pleasant B nib.

The barrel shows a very small area where the internal blackening of the barrel is slightly worn out leaving some transparency.
