Very rare and desirable Montblanc 136 with long ink window produced for the Italian market. The words "Fabbricata in Germania" can in fact be found only on the  caps of pens which were marketed in Italy.

Montblanc models manufactured for the Italian market can have a few cap details which differ from standard production. Beyond the engraving "Fabbricato in Germania", models with a flat cap to without the star also exist.

This pen is in excellent condition and it is fitted with a beautiful 14 ct gold Montblanc nib, grade F. The stripes of the barrel are still visible but there is a small portion of the transparent barrel where they have partially faded away.

The pen was originally meant to have an EF nib ( as shown on the turning knob) but the original one has been replaced, most probably to meet the previous owner's writing preferences.
