THE KING SUPERIOR green laminated celluloid

In the 1950's torpedo shaped pens were very fashionable. The Turin-based pen Company SAFIS  introduced the The King Superior model with a torpedo shaped design to meet the need of a market which was looking for modern and fashionable pens at affordable prices.

This model was produced in celluloid and with a beautiful spear shaped nib to safeguard tradition  but it was designed to look modern and fashionable, recalling the shape and design of  Sheaffer's lines of pens of the time.
