In the 1950s Kaweco marketed a series of piston fillers whose peculiarity was sturdiness, reliability and a good quality of writing. These pens were meant for a mass distribution and could satisfy the needs of students and everyday users.
They were manufactured in two sizes and in a wide range of marbled colors beyond the classical black.
This Kaweco piston filler in blue marbled celluloid is a senior size (cm 12,8) and it is fitted with a very pleasant 14 ct gold Kaweco nib (note that the writing sample indicates that the pen has a gold filled nib but this was my mistake while I was writing the sample; the nib is 14 ct gold).
The pen is in unused condition and it is a very good writer.
