FENDOGRAPH safety pen 1920's

Very interesting late  1920's Fendograph safety pen with rolled gold overlay.

Fendograph pens were produced in Milan by the Fend Company. The Company specialized in the production of precious and semi-precious overlays and produced overlays for Waterman pens, too.

The Company's typical features can be found both in the design of the cap top, which generally remains the same in all the overlays and, sometimes, in the presence of the Company's typical logo (see picture) which is normally placed in the lower part of the barrel.

This pen has a very unusual pattern of decoration with vertical high relief panels decorated with small roses.

The nib is 14 ct gold warranted, smooth and flexible.
