BIG BEN MASTER - GREEN PINENEEDLE CELLULOID - NOS BIG SIZE

Big Ben pens owe their origins to Niels Benzon, who was the official importer of Wahl Eversharp pens in Scandinavia in the early decades of 1900.

In 1933, the Benzon Trading Company, based in Copenhagen,  started manufacturing their own models. The new models were called Big Ben and were developed with a very original design which  didn’t show immediate  connection to Wahl Eversharp products. Although these pens were marketed with their own “Big Ben” nibs, many of them were also fitted with Wahl Eversharp nibs.

The brand was pretty successful in Denmark and was regularly supported with a wide-ranging advertising coverage which made these pens very desirable.

The best known Big Ben models  are Master, Big Bro, Axe.

This Big Ben Master is a new old stock big size, fitted with a very pleasant, flexible 14 ct Big Ben nib which is very smooth and pleasant to use.
