AURORA SUB-BRAND OLO - BLUE SPIDERWEB CELLULOID

Aurora created the OLO brand in the late 1920's to diversify production and have a range of pens with a very good price/quality ratio, suitable for a capillary distribution or to be used as promotionals.

Olo pens were manufactured in a wide variety of colors in two sizes and were meant to be cheaper than the standard Aurora models.

Production went on till the late 1940s with a number of variations in the use of celluloid, finish and style. As a whole Olo pens follow the basic principles of design of their contemporary Aurora counterparts.

In the late 1930s and in the 1940s, spiderweb celluloids were used for the Novum and Olo pens mutuated this style.

This 1940's full size Olo pen  in blue spiderweb celluloid has a beautiful Olo 14 ct gold nib and it is a very pelasant writer.
