AURORA ASCO SWIRL CELLULOID

This beautiful celluloid pen is unbranded but there is no doubt about its origin: it is an Aurora product, as shown by the clip, the design, the celluloid and the Asco nib. The pen is definitely an unbranded Asco model from the 1930's.

Aurora used this spectacular celluloid for its "subbrands" (Olo and Asco) as well as for its "unbranded models" which were marketed with various names or customized on request. Aurora also used this type of three-color celluloid (it exitsts in two versions: green/cream/gold and blue/cream/gold swirls) for the Internazionale models.

The pen is fitted with a rare Asco nib which is very smooth, flexible and wet. It is a very desirable pen in a color which is extremely fascinating and rare.
