ANCORA MAXIMA BLACK TRANSPARENT BARREL - SYRINGE FILLER

In the late 1930's Ancora introduced the Maxima model.

Maxima pens were available in three sizes and both as button fillers or with a reverse syringe filling mechanism. The reverse syringe mechanism was Ancora's reply to the trend of the time for pens with very large ink capacity and ink visibility.

Pens with the syringe mechanism have transparent barrels and are generally manufactured in laminated celluloid.

This Ancora Maxima in black laminated celluloid is in excellent condition  with very limited  signs of use. The imprint on the barrel is very deep and the nib is a pleasant writer with F tip.
