WATERMAN 94 BLUE RIPPLE - F- FLEXIBLE NIB
In the late 1920s, when all the most important US pen makers were creating new models in celluloid, Waterman refused to leave ebonite and introduced three new colors of ripple ebonite which were mostly used for the 94 line of lever fillers. The three new colors were Olive ripple, Blue ripple and Rose ripples which completed the series of ebonite colors were expected to rival the most fascinating shades of celluloid..
Nowadays 94 models in the three new colors of ebonite are becoming scarcer and scarcer on the market.
This Waterman 94 in Blue ripple is in very good condition with no structural damages. The pen is partially discoloured with yellowish shades on the ripple waves of the cap. Taking into account the extreme rarity and brittleness of this ebonite color, this pen can definitely deserve a place in any collection.
The pen is fitted with a beautiful Nr 4 nib which is extremely flexible and spleasant to use.
