WATERMAN 7 RIPPLE Blue cap band and nib

Waterman Ripple Nr 7 pens were introduced in 1927. The line comprised a number of pens in ripple ebonite with a colored cap band corresponding to a specific nib, identified by the same color of the band.

The colors where red, purple, blue, black, yellow, green, gray and pink.

This is the chart of writing modes corresponding to each color:

Red - Standard (medium flex)

Green - Rigid
Pink - Flexible Fine
Purple - Stiff Fine
Yellow - Rounded (ball tip)

Brown - Fine
Blue - Blunt (stub)

Grey - Oblique
Black - Flexible Medium

This Nr 7 with blue cap band is in excellent condition with only miniml signs of time.

The nib is stub, smooth and very pleasant to use.
