Cardinal red ebonite is a fascinating material, especially when it is found in pristine condition without stains nor discoloration. This  beautiful Waterman 52 1/2 V is in excellent condition with fresh imprints and  a fantastic color. The nib is flexible with an EF tip.

The 52 1/2 V model was designed  to fit small feminine hands. Being a ring top, it could also be worn on a necklace. In the 1920s wearing pens was fashionable and Waterman  was perfectly aware of the market. Ringtops were offered in many versions, from black ebonite to precious overlays in rolled gold, silver and solid gold, too.

this pen is a precious little jewelled it is very pleasant to use.
