WATERMAN 42 1/2 V with French overlay

During the 1920's, 30's and 40's Waterman pens were appreciated all over Europe and they were embellished with different types of overlays according to the countries where they were marketed.
French overlays are totally different from Italian ones and their style can be easily recognized.
This very appealing Waterman 42 1/2 V has a typical French Art Deco gold filed overlay with a geometry of open lozenges.
Condition is outstanding and the pen is a very nice writer, too.
