TURQUOISE AND BRONZE GOLDEN GUINEA - B NIB - WITH BOX

Golden Guinea pens are parte of the many lesser known British brands. Their pens are generally of good quality and were probably meant for the medium-priced share of the market to be everyday users. They exist in ebonite and in celluloid, as button fillers and as lever fillers and sometimes, as in this case, they were manufactured with really unusual materials, like this flashy turquoise and bronze celluloid.

This pen is new old stock and it is offered with its original presentation box, which is really cute. It is a button filler, which is called "stud filler" in the instruction leaflet and on the box. The cap still has the original price sticker. Time of production is probably the late 1930s early 1940s.

The pen is a very pleasant writer and it is fitted with a flexible M/B nib.
